Education Work

Part of my practice is leading art workshops in a variety of mediums but particularly wire. I am keen to work with groups with health issues and also developing installation pieces for public areas possibly working alongside various participants. I have been involved in teaching in a workshop environment for many years, below are recent examples.

NESA (North East Somerset Arts). Creative Links Project. Running a series of wire sculpting sessions with public through health teams. Continuing into 2009.

Brewery Arts, Cirencester. Adult one day wire course ‘Angelic Beings’

Selwood Middle School, Frome, giant African puppets for Multicultural week.

Bath International Music Festival. Opening night procession artwork made with three schools from the Bath area.

Black Swan Arts. Movers and Makers Project. Creating a permanent Tree of Life installation for the Key Centre (Family Centre), Frome. Incorporating elements made by participants.

Warminster School. Making wire pigeons with pupils.

I have sold many pieces to private collectors including Sonia Coode- Adams, Freddie Robins, Edwina Bridgeman, World café, London; Vortex Jazz Club, London.

I am currently working on private commissions.
